1950: The family adventure in the textile area begins. Angelo (born in 1899) along with his brother Giuseppe, help Luciano (1930), Angelo’s son in launching a new micro texture called "HORSE", taking its first steps in a textile landscape that included over fifty small to mid-sized companies.

1956: His resourcefulness and passion for this work inspired Luciano to start his own business "ALPINE STAR". An individual company that started working initially for external companies, manufacturing mainly cotton cloths and handkerchiefs. Luciano's attention shifts to a relatively new product for those times: the terry cloth. In just a few years it will become the bulk of their production.

1980: Mauro (born in 1962) began his collaboration promoting terry cloth articles for the home collection.

1984: Antonella (born in 1966) joined her father and brother in leading the family company becoming the administrative and financial director.

1989: Luciano believed the time had come to turn the company over to his children. Luciano continued to offer his collaboration until 2004. During those years, the company turned to the hotel industry, giving more and more attention to that growing market.

2013 and Forward: Looking to the future, developing new ways of doing business, modernizing and expanding to new markers.
